Welcome to Timberlane Gardens, a small, family-run workshop and nursery based in Homer Glen, Illinois. Founded by Kasie, Timberlane Gardens was born from a love of growing healthy food and building things that last. What began as a personal hobby has grown into a small business dedicated to affordable, handcrafted garden products that help people create beautiful, lasting gardens.
Each raised bed and planter is made from Select Cedar — a high-grade, naturally rot- and insect-resistant wood that’s completely chemical-free and safe for growing food. Every board is cut, fit, and finished by hand, ensuring strength, beauty, and long life in any garden environment.
Our joinery follows a historic old-world mortise-and-tenon design, a time-tested woodworking method used for centuries for its durability and simplicity. We didn’t invent it — we’re proud to carry on a proven design tradition, bringing heritage craftsmanship to modern gardens.
Our mission is to make gardening accessible, sustainable, and affordable for everyone — from beginners planting their first seedlings to seasoned growers expanding their backyard gardens.
Handcrafted from Select Cedar — built for organic, affordable, sustainable gardening.
We believe that quality and sustainability shouldn’t be out of reach. That’s why we focus on keeping our prices fair while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and materials.
Timberlane Gardens proudly supports local schools, community gardens, and pollinator programs throughout Illinois and beyond. By donating materials and offering guidance, we help more people experience the joy of growing food and connecting with the earth.

"Nothing says summer like stepping into your garden to see plump tomatoes ripening on the vine, crisp cucumbers ready to pick, or freshly snipped herbs filling the air with fragrance. Few things compare to the satisfaction of a bountiful harvest after months of nurturing — and nothing brings us more joy than sharing that experience with others."
