Who we are

Gardening has been part of our lives since childhood. My husband and I both grew up helping our grandparents pull weeds, plant vegetables, and bring in baskets of tomatoes and green beans for dinner. Those early days in our grandparents’ gardens are where our love for growing food took root.

When we moved into our home in Homer Glen, one of the first things we did was plant a garden of our own. Before long, we were trading stories over the fence with neighbors about what was sprouting, what had survived the heat, and what was ready to harvest. That sense of community is what inspired us to take the next step.

In 2015, we began making and selling cedar raised garden beds online. What started as a small workshop project has grown into Timberlane Gardens—a family-run business focused on building long-lasting products that help people grow their own food.

I’m Kasie, founder of Timberlane Gardens. I started this workshop out of a genuine love for gardening and a passion for building things that last. Every raised bed and planter is handcrafted from Select Cedar, free of chemicals, and designed to make gardening simple, durable, and accessible. Whether you’re planting your first raised bed or expanding a backyard full of vegetables, we’re here to help you build something that lasts.

We’re grateful to serve our neighbors and the wider gardening community with honest guidance, quality materials, and the essentials needed for a successful season.
