Raised garden bed kit dimensions: 1 foot wide x 6 feet long (6 inches deep) and 3 feet wide x 6 feet long (6 inches deep). Deepest depth is 12 inches when stacked. 5/8" thick.

Constructed of sustainably managed Select Cedar (rough sawn). 100% natural and chemical free. Mortise and Tenon joinery. Simple, no tool and splinter free assembly. Easy to transport. A beautiful, double tiered gardening bed. Use as two separate beds or stack them as one double tier bed. Joining brackets included. Deep beds allow more planting in a smaller space, such as Square Foot Gardening. Includes a 1-year replacement warranty* covering materials and workmanship!

*Timberlane Gardens will replace, free of charge, any material piece(s) that may develop structural defects as a result of faulty a material piece(s) or workmanship for a period of 12 months from time of purchase. Cosmetic defects, damage resulting from abuse (weedwhacker bad!), or the use of this product that differs from its intended purpose are not covered. Excludes 'B-Stock' items.

We use sustainably sourced, 100% untreated Select Cedar grown in the Pacific Northwest here in the USA. It is naturally rot-resistant, durable outdoors, and ideal for long-lasting raised beds and planters. You can read more about how we source our cedar on our Sustainability page.

Are Timberlane Gardens raised beds food-safe?

Yes. Our raised beds are made from pure, sustainably sourced Select Cedar that is naturally rot-resistant and never treated with chemical coatings, sealants, or preservatives. This makes them safe for growing vegetables, herbs, salad greens, and other edible plants. Why don’t your beds have a sealant or finish?

Cedar naturally resists rot, decay, and insects, so chemical sealants are unnecessary for most food gardens and can introduce ingredients you don’t want in your soil. Are foreign-made raised beds dangerous?

Not every imported bed is unsafe, but many are made from pressure-treated wood, painted composites, or coated metals that may contain chemicals you would not want near food, such as arsenic, formaldehyde, or heavy metals. Yes. Our mortise-and-tenon design is completely tool-free and goes together in seconds. The cedar rails slide into place and lock with solid oak pegs, so most customers can assemble a bed in just a few minutes without power tools.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We ship across the continental United States, with a carrier surcharge for Alaska and Hawaii. Every order includes tracking, and each product page displays current production and lead times. Do your products include a warranty?

Yes. Timberlane Gardens products include real warranty coverage: up to 3 years on premium items, 1 year standard on most products, and 90 days for B-Stock. Warranty covers material defects, workmanship issues, and component failures under normal use, with free part replacement and shipping during the covered period. What if my item arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, email us right away with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and affected parts. Do you accept returns and exchanges?

Yes. We accept returns and exchanges on most unused items within the time frames listed in our policy. Contact us within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days. Some custom or modified orders may be excluded. Full details are listed in our Returns & Refunds policy.

Do you accept order cancellations?

Yes, cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase in most cases. After that, your order may already be in production and cancellation may no longer be possible. If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible using the information on our Customer Support & Trust Center.
