That email can then be printed for, or forwarded to, a recipient who can use it at checkout to redeem its value. Redeem the value of a gift card by entering its unique code in the appropriate field at checkout. Gift cards are valid for purchases both online at timberlanegardens.com and in person at our Nursery and Garden Shoppe. The balance on a gift card can be spent on more than one order. Gift card balances are applied to the total value of an order, which can include taxes and shipping.

What type of wood do you use?
We use sustainably sourced, 100% untreated Select Cedar grown in the Pacific Northwest here in the USA. It is naturally rot-resistant, durable outdoors, and ideal for long-lasting raised beds and planters. You can read more about how we source our cedar on our Sustainability page.
Are Timberlane Gardens raised beds food-safe?
Yes. Our raised beds are made from pure, sustainably sourced Select Cedar that is naturally rot-resistant and never treated with chemical coatings, sealants, or preservatives. This makes them safe for growing vegetables, herbs, salad greens, and other edible plants. Why don’t your beds have a sealant or finish?
Cedar naturally resists rot, decay, and insects, so chemical sealants are unnecessary for most food gardens and can introduce ingredients you don’t want in your soil. Are Timberlane Gardens beds made in the USA?
Yes. Every Timberlane Gardens bed is handcrafted in our small workshop in Homer Glen, Illinois, using Select Cedar grown in the Pacific Northwest. Your purchase supports a small, family-run business and gives you full transparency about what goes into your garden.
What makes Timberlane Gardens beds different from cheaper ones sold online?
Many beds sold through big-box stores and online marketplaces are imported and made from unknown materials, with little detail about coatings, glues, or treatments. Timberlane Gardens beds are built in the USA from untreated Select Cedar, with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery and replaceable parts. Are foreign-made raised beds dangerous?
Not every imported bed is unsafe, but many are made from pressure-treated wood, painted composites, or coated metals that may contain chemicals you would not want near food, such as arsenic, formaldehyde, or heavy metals. Because manufacturing standards and disclosure vary, it is often hard to know what you are getting. We build with untreated Select Cedar and publish our material details openly. Are Timberlane Gardens raised beds easy to assemble?
Yes. Our mortise-and-tenon design is completely tool-free and goes together in seconds. The cedar rails slide into place and lock with solid oak pegs, so most customers can assemble a bed in just a few minutes without power tools.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. We ship across the continental United States, with a carrier surcharge for Alaska and Hawaii. Every order includes tracking, and each product page displays current production and lead times. Do your products include a warranty?
Yes. Timberlane Gardens products include real warranty coverage: up to 3 years on premium items, 1 year standard on most products, and 90 days for B-Stock. Warranty covers material defects, workmanship issues, and component failures under normal use, with free part replacement and shipping during the covered period. What if my item arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, email us right away with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and affected parts. We replace any damaged components promptly so you can get your garden started without delays. You can reach us through our Contact Us page or our Customer Support & Trust Center.
Do you accept returns and exchanges?
Yes. We accept returns and exchanges on most unused items within the time frames listed in our policy. Contact us within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days. Some custom or modified orders may be excluded. Full details are listed in our Returns & Refunds policy.
Do you accept order cancellations?
Yes, cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase in most cases. After that, your order may already be in production and cancellation may no longer be possible. If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible using the information on our Customer Support & Trust Center.
